The ALEHOOP project recently held its latest General Assembly in Pamplona, Spain, bringing together all partners to discuss the progress achieved over the past years. This key meeting provided an opportunity to assess the advancements made across various work packages and align on the next steps towards our shared goals.
During the assembly, partners showcased the innovative solutions ALEHOOP is developing to promote a more sustainable and efficient use of agricultural and industrial by-products for alternative protein production. The discussions highlighted the significant technical progress in refining our bioprocesses, optimizing protein extraction methods, and assessing the environmental and economic impact of our solutions.
A highlight of the meeting was the visit to ISANATUR, our host for this General Assembly. Partners had the opportunity to explore their facilities, gaining firsthand insights into their role in the project and their contributions to sustainable biorefinery processes. The visit reinforced the strong collaboration within the consortium and the commitment to bringing ALEHOOP’s innovations closer to real-world applications.
As the project moves forward, the consortium remains focused on overcoming key challenges and driving sustainable biotechnological advancements. ALEHOOP continues to pave the way for more eco-friendly and circular solutions in alternative protein production, strengthening Europe’s leadership in sustainable food and feed innovation.
Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the next milestones in the ALEHOOP journey!
