It has not been easy, though. Meeting after meeting, we have seen it grow and shared the results of each Work Package (WP). There have been challenges that every team had to overcome and, of course, a pandemic, which slowed down some tasks and also forced us to meet always through online platforms, like we did on the 22nd of June for our 4th General Assembly Meeting.
Nuria Valdés, our Project Manager from Contactica, organised and coordinated the whole meeting and made our virtual meeting possible. Through the morning and part of the afternoon, each WP team revealed their results, showing promising advances for the project outcomes. They also shared the difficulties they faced, the implemented solutions as well as the methodologies they have been using. They showed how each WP will proceed during the next months until our next meeting, sharing details on every part of the processes that will be set in motion.
There was time, too, to plan the next steps regarding the project management, the needs of every team and the communication strategy that will be followed these months. Also, we started planning the next meeting which will, at last, be in person, so we can all see each other faces after so long. Group meetings are the best opportunity to assess every WP’s work in detail but, let’s face it, in person meetings give us also the opportunity to network in a more relaxed way and communication, questions, round tables and discussions are much more efficient when people gather at the same place.
That is why we can’t wait to see each other in person and keep sharing the work already done and, at the same time, look ahead for the next challenges, opportunities and discoveries. Thank you all for your contributions, your questions, solutions and availability and, hopefully, see you soon!
